The supporting role of the National Innovation Centre (NIC)
The National Innovation Centre (NIC) plays an important role in supporting Vietnamese start-ups and connecting them with international markets. Through its start-up support programmes, NIC helps young enterprises access the capital, knowledge and networks they need to grow and reach the world. At InnovFest x Asia 2024, NIC will showcase advanced technologies and breakthrough ideas from Vietnamese start-ups, while creating a bridge for them to meet and exchange with international investors and partners.

This year's event received special attention from the Embassy of Viet Nam in Singapore, which supported and promoted outstanding Vietnamese start-ups such as AirCity, Foodmap and Meta DAP. This is a golden opportunity for these companies to showcase their products and technologies, expand their networks and seek investment opportunities. AirCity focuses on smart city solutions, offering innovative applications for effective urban management. Foodmap has developed a platform connecting agricultural producers with consumers, helping to solve food supply chain problems and bringing Vietnamese agricultural products closer to the market. Meta DAP provides advanced data and analytics solutions, helping businesses make sound data-driven decisions.
These start-ups were selected to take part in the exhibition on the basis of a range of criteria, including technical capacity, innovative products and patentable technologies, as well as their relevance to and alignment with Viet Nam's national digital transformation and the Fourth Industrial Revolution, so that they can expand to other countries around the world.
The presence of Vietnamese start-ups at InnovFest x Asia 2024 is not only an opportunity to promote their brands but also a strategic step towards expanding into international markets.
