The Vietnamese side was represented by Dr. Phan Sỹ Nghĩa, President of VAVET; Dr. Mạc Văn Tiến, Vice President of VAVET; Dr. Hoàng Kim Cục, former Director General of the Department of Overseas Labour (MOLISA) and Deputy Director of the Institute for Development of Vocational Education and Social Security; and Dr. Phạm Xuân Thu of the National Institute for Vocational Education and Training Science (MOLISA).

The KOICA side was represented by Ms Song EunEui, Deputy Country Director of KOICA Viet Nam; Mr Kim Cheol Hee, Chief Expert, Korea Research Institute for Vocational Education and Training under the Prime Minister's Office; Mr Shin Seung Han, root industries expert; Ms Cho Myongsun, nursing expert; Ms KIM Jihee, ODA expert; Ms Phạm Mỹ Linh, Senior ODA Specialist; and Ms Ryu Nuri, Project Coordinator.

The project "Developing Skilled and Professional Talent for Viet Nam" will run from 2026 to 2030. Its objectives are to provide training in Viet Nam in nursing, shipbuilding and root industries; to link trainees with employment in reputable Korean enterprises under the supervision of KOICA as a Korean government agency; to support workers who have acquired Korean know-how and technology to return to Viet Nam and contribute to their home country; and to support partner colleges in capacity building, training programmes and facilities.

After the meeting, the two sides agreed to coordinate closely and share updates on the project's progress and the direction of cooperation in the coming period.
