A new Policy and Law Advisory Board

The Policy and Law Advisory Board is a specialised body of the Association, established to strengthen its role in advising on, reviewing and proposing policy for vocational education.

The Board advises the Association's leadership and state agencies on developing and improving mechanisms, policies and laws on vocational education, and on the direction of the vocational education system in line with Vietnam's socio-economic development. It also provides independent review of draft legal documents and related policies.

Its main tasks are to:

  • comment on and review draft laws, programmes, projects and strategies for vocational education;
  • study how policies are implemented in practice, identify bottlenecks and propose amendments;
  • organise workshops, roundtables and forums connecting experts, managers and institutions, and promote the exchange of domestic and international experience;
  • carry out other tasks assigned by the Association's leadership.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bùi Thế Dũng, member of the Executive Committee, was appointed Head of the Board.
