Leaders of the Viet Nam Association for Vocational Education, Training and Social Work present flowers to congratulate MA, journalist Trần Hồng Quỳnh on taking up the post of Deputy Editor-in-Chief in charge of the magazine Nghề nghiệp và Cuộc sống.

Driving renewal of the Association's activities in a new context

The strengthening of the Executive Committee stems from the need to enhance management capacity and to organise activities in line with the rapid and diverse development of vocational education and training (TVET) and social work in Viet Nam. In addition, in the context of deep international integration, communication, partnership-building, promoting the value of the professions and building a training–research–knowledge transfer ecosystem play an extremely important role.

The magazine Nghề nghiệp và Cuộc sống, where MA, journalist Trần Hồng Quỳnh works, is the official mouthpiece of the Viet Nam Association for Vocational Education, Training and Social Work (VAVET&SOW). It plays a role in promoting academic information, disseminating experience, critiquing policy and connecting organisations, researchers and teachers in the TVET system. Mr Quỳnh's membership of the Executive Committee is expected to help the Association take a more proactive approach to strategic communication, linking academic content with real life.

Meanwhile, the Viet Nam – China TVET Cooperation Centre, headed by Mr Nguyễn Tuấn Vĩnh, is one of the effective cooperation units in vocational training between Viet Nam and China. Mr Vĩnh's presence on the Executive Committee will deepen international cooperation and open up further opportunities to access advanced training models, standardise vocational skills and exchange experts and learners between the two countries.

Affirming its role as a dynamic and innovative socio-professional organisation

The addition of members to the Executive Committee not only completes the organisational structure of the Viet Nam Association for Vocational Education, Training and Social Work, but also reflects its openness and readiness for renewal, integration and development. With the contributions of the two new members, the Association expects to continue serving as an effective bridge between policy, training institutions, enterprises and learners, helping to improve the quality of human resources and ensure social security in the new phase of development. This is also a concrete step in the preparations for the Congress of Delegates of the Viet Nam Association for Vocational Education, Training and Social Work, term 2025–2030, which is expected to be held at the end of 2025.
