The event took place in a very warm atmosphere at the Little Rainbow Speech Therapy and Inclusive Education Centre, one of VAN's activity venues. To open the programme, the children performed musical items to welcome their teachers and friends. To perform these items smoothly, they had put a great deal of effort and love into rehearsing. The children were especially excited by the lion-head-making workshop led by artist Chu Nhật Quang and were delighted that, at the end of the session, each of them had a colourful creation made with their own hands.
Teacher Thuý Nguyễn, Vice President of VAN, said: "I was moved to see our children so excitedly showing off the lion heads they had made themselves. I hope this art class will continue to grow and bring more and more joy to the children."
This Mid-Autumn Festival programme is one of VAVET's charitable activities, with artist Chu Nhật Quang as an active member.
