The National Innovation Centre (NIC) is a place that connects resources, a symbol of Vietnamese innovation and the nucleus driving the development of Viet Nam's innovation ecosystem.

From 5 to 15 October 2024, the Thăng Long Imperial Citadel will host a special event: the lacquer painting exhibition "Sacred Traces" (Dấu thiêng), a profound journey of discovery into the culture, history and soul of the Vietnamese people, by the talented young artist Chu Nhật Quang. The exhibition is held to mark the 70th anniversary of the Liberation of the Capital.

The lacquer painting exhibition "Dấu thiêng" (Sacred Traces) by artist Chu Nhật Quang will take place from 5 to 15 October 2024 at the Thang Long Imperial Citadel. Organised by the Thang Long – Hanoi Heritage Conservation Centre, VAVET&SOW and Vietcom Company, the exhibition celebrates the 70th anniversary of the Liberation of the Capital and honours Viet Nam's distinctive craft of lacquer painting.

The Polytechnic College of Engineering and Technology (CTECH) has held its graduation ceremony and welcomed new students for the 2024–2025 academic year. The arrival of nearly 1,500 new faces demonstrates the college's standing in vocational education and training.

Today's young generation is growing up alongside digital technology and keeping ahead of global trends. They readily grasp that the labour market is in a situation of "too many graduates, too few skilled workers", having seen many older peers still struggling to find work after university, many of whom still do not know what they want or why they work.

Despite achieving impressive scores in the 2024 National Upper Secondary School Examination, they turned down university admission – this is the story of how twins Hoàng Tố Vân and Hoàng Ngọc Lan from Tran Yen District, Yen Bai Province, chose their school and their vocation on the threshold of their future.

Although they were admitted to their first-choice public Grade 10 school (Thach That Upper Secondary School), Vũ Thu Hường and Kiều Anh Tú (Dai Dong commune, Thach That district, Ha Noi) decided instead to enrol in the dual-qualification programme (the 9+ college programme) at Hanoi College of High Technology.

InnovFest x Asia 2024, the region's leading technology exhibition held from 29 to 31 May at Singapore Expo, welcomed three outstanding representatives from Viet Nam.
